Del Arroyo Recovery Center is a private rehab near Woodland Hills, CA just outside Los Angeles. We offer individualized treatment plans for alcohol and drug addiction in a retreat-like setting.
Clients in our inpatient addiction treatment programs benefit from an exceptionally high level of care. Our low staff-to-client ratio helps us maintain the highest standards of care and offer you the personalized attention you deserve.
Our Unique Approach
Our team believes in personalized treatment because we know that no two people experience drug or alcohol addiction the same way. You have your own unique needs and challenges, and our goal is to meet you where you are.
Our compassionate care team takes the time to get to know and to understand what you’re going through and where you’ve been, so we can create an individualized plan that sets you up for success in recovery.
Substance Abuse Treatment at Del Arroyo
Clients at our private, six-bed treatment center in Southern California benefit from a range of evidence-based treatments. We treat all substance use disorders, including alcohol abuse and alcohol use disorder at our addiction rehabilitation facility near Woodland Hills.
Services at our inpatient treatment center include:
Medical Detox
Most clients in our rehab programs start with drug and alcohol detox to clear substances from the body. Detox is especially important for people with a chemical dependency on drugs or alcohol. It breaks the physical dependence on substances, allowing you to move forward in treatment without the discomfort of withdrawal symptoms and physical cravings.
We provide medically supervised detox at our drug rehab center, overseen by a team of experienced clinicians.
Individual Therapy
One-on-one therapy sessions with a trained counselor provide a safe space where you can share your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. Your therapist will work closely with you to uncover the underlying causes of your substance abuse and help you develop better ways of managing stress and coping with difficult emotions.
Your counselor may try a variety of evidence-based therapies, based on what’s most helpful for you. These may include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, EMDR, and others.
Group therapy
Support groups can be powerful for people in recovery. Hearing from others and sharing about yourself with the group is a reminder that you’re not alone on your sobriety journey.
Our addiction treatment team facilitates group therapy sessions that are fun, engaging, and helpful. We prioritize helping you find a community of sober peers, because we believe in the power of building connections for long-term recovery.
Therapeutic recreational activities
Our inpatient drug rehab team encourages clients to explore new and familiar recreational activities that foster a sense of well-being. Recreational activities are a great way to connect with others in treatment, creating a supportive and motivating environment that aids in the recovery process.
Recreational activities can also provide a positive outlet for your energy and emotions. Spending time in nature can help reduce stress and anxiety, while learning a new skill—like playing the guitar, surfing, or gardening—can provide a sense of accomplishment.
Dual Diagnosis Care
Mental health disorders and addiction often occur together, and it’s important to treat both conditions at the same time. Leaving one condition untreated can lead to setbacks in recovery.
Our goal at Del Arroyo is to help destigmatize mental illness. There is no shame in needing help for anxiety, depression, and the myriad other mental health issues that affect millions of people. We are a mental health center qualified to provide dual diagnosis care alongside substance abuse treatment.
